Katie did an excellent job helping my find a home to buy and to sell my townhouse. First, the purchase. The current market was very challenging at my price point in the Charlotte area, and most of the good houses were selling above list price shortly after hitting the market. Katie worked very hard to target the neighborhoods that would meet my needs, and she was very accessible any time a home would list in these areas. Once we found the right home, she analyzed the neighborhoods with respect to the home, and she put together a well-organized offer with a personal touch that seemed to appeal to the sellers. After we were in contract, she recommended all of the appropriate inspections, and because of her expertise, we found and negotiated a significant repair to the chimney. Once that was done, she managed the transaction well, ensuring that all parties did their part to get the deal closed. Next the sale. Katie took the time to walk through my townhouse and recommend a list of minor changes to make the home more appealing to buyers. Once complete, she listed the home at the highest price of any home in my development, and we had an offer within 4 hours of listing the property. For this transaction, the buyer's agent didn't seem to be on top of things, so Katie stepped up and helped drive the process, ensuring the deal closed on time. Because of Katie's experience, hard work, and expertise in the Charlotte market, I feel like I got the best deal possible on both the purchase of my new home and on the sale of my prior home. She understands all the appropriate steps to take in the transactions, and she is an excellent negotiator.
